• The Oak Room is the Plaza's documented Gossip Girl space: the group gathers there to unmask Gossip Girl in the Season 2 finale.
• An exterior beat on 59th Street outside the hotel closes that same storyline.
• Correction: the Plaza is not owned by Bart Bass in the show and Chuck does not live here. The Bass residences on screen are the Palace Hotel (Seasons 1–2) and the Empire Hotel (Season 3 onward).
• Claims that Blair's bridal preparations, the debutante ball or the royal wedding were filmed at the real Plaza are not documented, so we do not list them.

Visiting The Plaza Hotel

• Free from the street: photograph the facade from Grand Army Plaza, beside the fountain and the gilded statue.
• The lobby is a public hotel space; the Palm Court serves afternoon tea — check current hours with the hotel before you plan around it.
• The Oak Room, the room actually used in the show, has been closed to the public since 2011 and is now used for private events only. You cannot walk in for a drink.
• The Plaza Food Hall is permanently closed — older guides still list it.
• Nearby in one loop: the Pulitzer Fountain, Central Park's south entrance and Bergdorf Goodman.
