St. Jude's School for Boys
About This Location
St. Jude's School for Boys is the fictional all-boys prep school attended by Chuck Bass, Nate Archibald, and Dan Humphrey — the male counterpart to Constance Billard School for Girls. In the show, the two schools share a campus and social scene, with the exteriors filmed at the Museum of the City of New York on Fifth Avenue. St. Jude's was named after the patron saint of lost causes, which — considering the behavior of its most famous students — feels entirely appropriate. The school's lacrosse team, academic pressures, and old-boys'-club atmosphere drove many of the show's storylines about privilege, legacy admissions, and the weight of family expectations.
