Gapstow Bridge, the picturesque stone arch bridge at the north end of The Pond in Central Park, is one of the most photographed spots in all of New York City — and a beloved Gossip Girl filming location. The bridge's rustic Schist stone construction and its postcard-perfect views of the Midtown Manhattan skyline reflecting in The Pond made it an irresistible choice for the show's cinematographers. Blair Waldorf was frequently seen crossing or standing on Gapstow Bridge during her visits to feed the ducks at The Pond below. The bridge is particularly stunning in autumn when the surrounding trees explode with color, and in winter when snow blankets its arch.
