Bleecker Street Subway Station

About This Location
The Bleecker Street subway station provided the setting for one of Gossip Girl's most charming fish-out-of-water scenes: Nate Archibald attempting to teach Blair Waldorf how to ride the subway. For Upper East Siders who travel exclusively by town car and taxi, the subway represents an entirely foreign world. Blair's discomfort with public transportation — and Nate's patient attempts to normalize it — perfectly captured the show's comedy of privilege. The station is located in the heart of Greenwich Village, near Magnolia Bakery (made famous by Sex and the City), making it a double TV-location stop.
